Quick cookies - great for a party or a bake sale.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, beat in one egg yolk.
  2. Beat in flour.
  3. Spread dough evenly over the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch rimmed baking pan.
  4. Lightly beat egg white, spread over dough.
  5. Sprinkled walnuts over the top and lightly pressed into dough.
  6. Bake in a 275 F oven until firm and lightly brown, about an hour.
  7. Sprinkled chocolate chips on top and put it back in oven to melt the chocolate, about five minutes.
  8. Remove from oven use a small spatula to spreed the chocolate.
  9. Used serrated knife to cut cookie squares.
