		<description>Carol, No criticism but exchanging the water and Knorr cube for home made chicken or vegetable stock would add depth to the recipe, plus a little half and half swirled in at the end provides richness.

When making my Cornfish chowder, I add one or two bottles of clam juice depending on the amount I am making. Hot smoked salmon cut into chunks or, better still, Finnan Haddie if you can find it, along with the white fish, a handful of shrimp cut in half and about four large scallops quartered really boost the enjoyment.
